### Treatment of the Questions — Article I

*On the first assignment of the image.*

Next, for the understanding of this second part of the present distinction — the division of which was set out above — with respect to the first assignment of the image, which is through memory, understanding, and will, three things are asked.

*The first* is whether the account of the image is found in these three.

*The second* concerns the comparison of these to their object.

*The third* concerns their comparison to the soul or subject.
